Colin Eastman (Flanker) - 1st Team Captain

Nickname: Taz    Height - 2ft 6"     Weight - 4st

Colin is an outstanding back row forward, who has enjoyed many years in the 1st team. His aggressive style of play is fantastic to watch. Colin is a very important player who injured himself last season, which proved to be a huge loss.

Taz may be small but he is not the kind of guy you pick a fight with!

Steven Hall (Fullback)

Nickname: The Coon    Height - 5ft 2"     Weight - Too Light

Steve is the only player for Blyth RFC this season who has reached the heights of the Northumberland Centurions XV. But they were slaughtered 64-17 by Ashngton, However 'The Legend' scored two breathtaking try's, albeit his own breath.

Steven Noble (Hooker)

Nickname: Yogi    Height - 4ft 5"     Weight - 25st

Steve has turned into a very effective player for the 1st XV since he switched from propping the scrum to hooking the ball. Steve is a well liked member of Blyth RFC and has earned the respect of his team mates for his skill and determination on and off the field. Steve got an injury against Ryton in the last game of the season, let's hope he is fit for the season this year.

John Johnson (Scrum Half)

Nickname: Rude Kid    Height - 3ft     Weight - 33st

Johnny is an excellent player to have in your team, his specialised position is scrum half, but he can also play a good standard on the wing, in the centre, second row or prop. Johnny is known to his mates as 'rude kid' because he loves to use rude and abusive language, so if you're easily offended don't speak to him or he'll hurl abusive language at you!

I must take this opportunity to thank Johnny for his comments (via the guestbook) about this website. You can always rely on Rude Kid to learn you new words which you didn't think where part of the British Language.

Darren Cunningham (Winger)

Nickname:Chunky    Height - 6ft     Weight - 40st

Darren had a very good season last year and won the top try scorer award, (he was won it 3 years in a row). Darren could have scored many more trys last season if he had kept his mind on the game, instead of threatening members of the selection committee during league games.

'Two penath Cunningham' as he is known to his mates, is always keen to take part in debates when they have nothing to do with him. The 'bouncing bomb' of a winger 'scored' on a recent tour of America, unfortunately it was with Minnie Mouse.

Many Thanks to Darren who has helped me with this website.

Chris Hogg (Centre)

Nickname: Wok Hands    Height - 5ft 3"    Weight - 6st

Chris is an excellent talent at centre who loves to run hard and fast at the opposition, but sometimes forgets there's 14 other players on the pitch, too. Chris is trying to gain more weight so he can become a more effective 'crash' centre. He is now on  a strict diet of hairy pies, chips and Guinness. Keep it up Snoop!
